Small Survivals

Presented as a diptych accompanied by a related observational study, the series traces a subtle narrative of transformation within the urban ecology of Venice. An abandoned bottle reappears altered by new growth, while the image of a pigeon beside a seedling emerging through pavement acts as an intermediary moment of ecological adaptation. Rather than illustrating a linear story, the works function as connected observations exploring resilience, reclamation, and coexistence within constructed environments.
